Modern Hostel - Los Angeles

Jacuzzi was awesome, but no smoking area was disappointing. Tv was nice.

Location: the hotel was so close to freeway access, many stores and a bus stop and a bus stop. Some of the staff members were amicable.

The shared bathroom was relatively clean and accessible. The bed provided decent comfort for a short stay.

The place had noticeable holes in the walls and blinds that were broken, which gave it a neglected feel. Cutlery and cups were absent, and food options lacked clear markings, causing some confusion. The surrounding area felt isolated and somewhat unsafe .

I appreciated the hotel.

I really enjoyed the cozy bed in my Single Room with Shared Bathroom. It was comfy enough for a good rest after exploring! Everything was clean and the kitchen had what I needed, but the location felt a bit far from attractions 😅

Staying at Modern Hostel was a highlight of my trip. The trendy environment created such a cute atmosphere. My Single Room with Shared Bathroom was spacious and impeccably clean, perfect for a solo traveler like me. The bed felt cozy and provided the restful sleep I needed to explore Los Angeles. I also appreciated the vibrant common areas, ideal for meeting fellow travelers. The staff here. They were approachable and helpful. I did notice a few issues. Some amenities like cutlery and plates were lacking in the kitchen area. It could use more clarity regarding food usage. Though, the positive aspects greatly outweighed the negatives. Can't wait to return!

Great community vibe with friendly staff

The community atmosphere was refreshing, so many like-minded travelers! The kitchen staff ensured I felt at home, with ample cookware available for our meals. Loved the jacuzzi!

I stayed in the Single Room with Shared Bathroom for 1 night. It was decent, but definitely not perfect. The room felt a bit cramped, and there were noticeable marks and holes in the walls. The bed was cozy enough for a good night's sleep. The shared bathroom was fairly clean, a plus. Just wish the overall vibe was a bit fresher!

Can't recommend highly enough for a weekend break

Cozy bed, clean room, with a perfect shower experience for refreshing after a day of exploring and enjoying the solid amenities, including cookware and kitchen utensils that were much appreciated.

Nothing could have been better.

The atmosphere was vibrant and cute the staff genuinely cared for everyone. I enjoyed getting to know fellow travelers during our cookout which really reminded me of a community experience.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. The staff were super friendly, always there to help. My room was spacious and clean, just what I needed. I loved the chill common areas, perfect for meeting new friends during my five nights there.
